Golf Course Pro Shop Newly Renovated
 In November 2008,  the pro shop was extensively renovated to include improvements to the kitchen/dining area, customer service counter, bathrooms and fresh paint throughout.  The location of items for sale also moved, providing a more convenient layout of the shop.

Redesigned 17th and 18th Holes  opened October 2006 with the Chamber of Commerce Tournament.

Lake Jonesco Golf Course has made major capital improvements that will provide a course of great golfing for many years to come. Improvements this past year include the addition of cart paths, the redesign of the 17th and 18th hole and a driving range that opened April 21, 2007. Also added to the complex was a new building that houses the golf carts and provides a shop for maintenance work on the carts.  The golf course added a new well that will provide the much needed water for the course. Between the 7th and 8th hole, a rain shelter was added with a bathroom. The materials were donated and the structure was built utilizing prison labor.

Special events are featured throughout the year including a quarterly Family Day when golfing for children accompanied by their parent is free. The County Commissioners are dedicated to the promotion of shared family time through the recreation programs they fund in the annual budget.

The facility is open seven days a week with summer hours from 7:30 AM until dark, and tee times are not required. The course offers annual memberships for singles, families, and seniors. The course is suitable for all skill levels. The course features tees for men, women, seniors, and juniors. Children’s tees were installed to equalize competition among family members. The green tees are 100 yards on par 3; 200 yards on par 4; and 300 yards on par 5.

Lake Jonesco Golf Course is a member of the Georgia State Golf Association.  Clubs are available for sale and rent. Snacks and drinks are available in the pro shop as well as clothing and accessories.
